Bitwarden Backup

Application purpose

Bitwarden Backup is a personal, non-commercial backup application operated by its owner. It creates recovery archives from the owner's self-hosted Bitwarden service, encrypts them on a private backup system before upload, and stores only encrypted archives and checksum files in the owner's authorized Google Drive.

The application uses Google Drive solely for backup publication, integrity verification, recovery testing, and retention of its own backup files. It is not a public password-management service and does not provide access to other users' vaults.

应用使用这些权限上传、列出、下载和按保留策略删除它自己创建的备份对象。

运行方式

1. 从自托管 Bitwarden 服务生成一致性恢复快照。
2. 在私人备份控制器上验证并加密快照。
3. 将加密归档及其校验文件上传至所有者授权的 Google Drive。
4. 根据保留策略维护历史版本，并定期执行恢复验证。
